Just tried to run the script on the following package:
http://www-masu.ist.osaka-u.ac.jp/~kakugawa/download/TypeHack/VFlib3-3.6.14.tar.gz
It downloaded it fine, but when it tried to unpack it, it told me “the packages either doesn’t create a directory or it does something weird” even though when I unpack it myself it does seem to make a directory.
Smells like a bug in the slackbuild script (-;
